Tara plays a vital role in guiding patients through many options, answering questions, and addressing concerns during their cosmetic consultation. Tara has worked alongside board-certified dermatologist and founder of South Jersey Skin Care & Laser Center, Dr. Robin Levin, for over eighteen years. Consultation Policy
*Consult Fee – $100 for the initial consultation (non-refundable)
Your consultation includes a personalized treatment plan designed around your cosmetic and aesthetic goals. This is not a medical exam.
*If treatment is begun within 14 days of the consultation, your $100 consultation fee will be credited toward services; if not, it will be applied to the consultation itself.
- A credit card is required to reserve your appointment.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, late cancellations, or no-shows will result in a $100 charge.

With more than twenty years of experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic fields, and having undergone extensive training, Tara is considered an expert in the industry. Tara believes that the expertise of a dermatology medical provider and the skin care savviness of a seasoned aesthetician can complement each other to create optimal outcomes for patients. She specializes in assessments for cosmetic skin care treatments and prescribing in-house skin care products for all skin types.
Patients who are considering BOTOX® and several other aesthetic treatments will first meet with Tara for a cosmetic consultation in the initial stage of their cosmetic journey. What Will Your Customized Cosmetic Consultation for Cosmetic Procedures with Tara Involve?
Tara provides a thorough cosmetic consultation to address each patient’s goals, review the benefits and risks of various cosmetic and aesthetic treatment options, address any concerns or questions the patient may have, offer quotes for the costs of treatments, go over disclosures and consents, and take before and after photos to track progress.
At times, Tara recognizes that South Jersey Skin Care & Laser Center may not be able to serve the patient best according to their cosmetic needs and goals, and she will often provide referrals vetted by Dr. Levin. Tara builds trust and respect with patients seeking her knowledge and conveys the limitations of cosmetic dermatology. She, like Dr. Levin, wants the patient to have a positive experience and she understands that sometimes that may mean meeting with another provider.

If treatment or services are completed within 2 weeks of consultation, a $100 discount will be applied toward your services.
Product Consultations with Tara – A Fee-Based Consult
Tara and Dr. Levin work in-tandem when onboarding product lines and every specific product offered at South Jersey Skin Care & Laser Center has been vetted by both professionals. Every line requires extensive training and certification and must pass the high standards that Dr. Levin has established for the practice.
A fee-based product consultation is available for skin care products our practice offers. During a product consultation, Tara can help you determine your skin type, provide an assessment of your skin, address concerns, and recommend in-house products that fit a patient’s needs. She makes in-house product recommendations based on each individual’s unique concerns, goals, and budget. Once patients are comfortable with moving forward with purchasing products, Tara will conduct a detailed product consultation to educate the patient on the protocols of each product and provide follow-up care as needed.
*Product consultations for skin products that have been acquired outside of the practice (including over the counter (OTC)/online purchases) are not appropriate. These products cannot be discussed due to their uncertain authenticity.
