Welcome Cosmetic Consultant Tara Avallone
South Jersey Skin Care & Laser Center takes a full-spectrum approach to dermatology in New Jersey, providing an extensive range of both clinical and cosmetic services. As a part of those services, our new licensed medical aesthetician, Tara Avallone, CME, provides cosmetic dermatology consults for a range of treatments and products. This includes BOTOX®, dermal fillers, laser treatments, and in-house skincare lines available only through the medical office.
Tara has decades of experience in the industry, having received training and certification from Star Technical Institute, then undergoing additional training in aesthetics and skin care to obtain her aesthetic license from Rizzieri School of Health and Wellness. She has worked by Dr. Robin Levin’s side for more than 10 years prior to taking on the cosmetic consultant title, giving her ample preparation for her current focus. In fact, Dr. Levin often defers to Tara when it comes to skincare lines and certain treatments.
A cosmetic consultant is the ideal person to prepare patients for their treatments. Tara explains what approach may be necessary in order to address particular concerns or achieve specific goals, goes over the details of chosen strategies and highlights what to expect (including estimated costs), and reviews consent for treatments to ensure patients are totally aware of the benefits and risks tied to their choices.

Tara also takes “before” pictures prior to treatment, so you can see the difference in your skin after your desired results develop!
