Dermal Fillers in New Jersey

New Jersey and Philadelphia area residents have probably heard of dermal fillers, but may not know exactly what they are or how filler works. Dermal fillers are used to fill in wrinkles for smooth, even, and nearly instant results that are natural looking. Radiesse® and Belotero® are just two of the fillers we offer at South Jersey Skin Care & Laser Center to help improve facial harmonics by adding volume to specified areas. By adding instant volume, wrinkles and folds disappear within minutes. For many patients, results from their dermal filler treatment from our New Jersey practice last nine to 12 months or more.

A consultation with Dr. Robin Levin prior to dermal filler treatment allows the patient an opportunity to discuss cosmetic goals and discover the recommended treatment options to meet the unique needs of each patient, which may include Juvéderm®, if appropriate.

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Robin Levin and the team of skin care specialists at South Jersey Skin Care & Laser Center have a vested interest in cosmetic dermatology. Radiesse® and Other Dermal Fillers Offered in the Philadelphia Area

Radiesse® is one of the premier dermal fillers we offer our South Jersey and Philadelphia patients because Radiesse® provides a natural volumizing lift under the skin and stimulates collagen growth for several months. Patients interested in this dermal filler should know that Radiesse® is optimal for correcting the following facial areas:

  • Smile lines
  • Marionette lines
  • Corners of the mouth
  • Pre-jowls
  • Chin wrinkles

Juvéderm® Ultra and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus are also available for filling in wrinkles, adding volume, and hydrating key areas on the face. Dr. Levin and her team can explain more about the difference between the different dermal filler brands, as well as the variations under a single brand, such as Juvéderm® and Voluma XC.

Dermal Fillers Treatment and Recovery

One of the great benefits of an injectable filler as opposed to a surgical procedure is the quick treatment time. In most cases, treatment takes approximately half an hour, and patients are able to carry on with their usual activities afterwards.

Some patients report that they notice results right away. However, for the majority of our New Jersey dermal filler patients, optimal results appear a few days following the procedure.
